Breakfast in Collinsville

The video above does not deal directly with public records per-say, although the dash-cam videos are public records and I suppose one might argue that the video would not exist apart from public records laws. At any rate, the purpose for posting the video here is that I am interested in civil rights generally and specifically active in more areas then just public records issues (e.g. photographer’s rights, the homeless, etc.).

Although I would recommend not speaking to LEOs at all other than to identify myself and then articulate the following:

“Am I under arrest? Am I free to go? If I am under arrest or being detained I want a lawyer.”

Otherwise, this video is revealing about the nonsocial lengths to which LEOs will go to scavenge for a “good” bust. Personally, the part that I find most offensive and disturbing is the question regarding “large amounts of US currency.” It’s long, but well done and I’d like to have a cup of coffee with the fellow who made the video. He seems like an interesting guy.
