In a follow-up article, the Sarasota Herald Tribune, has reported that Sarasota County Deputy Sheriff Dominic Fornel continues to be questioned regarding his conduct in a series of DUI arrests.
It now appears that DS Fornel has a long history of questionable DUI arrests, including the arrest of a woman sleeping in a parked car while on private property.
Once again the Sarasota Herald Tribune has offered a glimmer of hope that good investigative journalism is not dead.

I commend your efforts to reward good journalism. It’s the follow-through. In the past the journalists pushed the agencies and corporations and now even federal judges get ignored.
