Carlos Miller – NOT GUILTY

My friend and fellow activist Carlos Miller was found Not Guilty in his criminal trial this past week.  Miller is a professional photojournalist and was arrested by the Miami-Dade Police Department while he was covering the eviction of Occupy Miami.

Miller was charged with Resisting Without Violence, a catch-all charge LEOs use when they have nothing else.  As Miller and his attorney’s aptly demonstrated during the trial, these charges were baseless.  Of course that does not change the fact that Miller had to spend thousands of dollars defending himself.

Congratulations to Carlos and his legal team!
