This morning the Tampa Bay Times (formerly the Saint Petersburg Times) published an article about FOGWatch.  The article went into some detail about our in-person public records audits and some of the subsequent litigation.

In the article Florida Senate President Don Gatez was quoted as follows:

“Joel Chandler is the burr under the saddle of insensitive government,” Gaetz said. “And a burr under the saddle is uncomfortable. But he  is a necessary nudge to insensitive government agencies and contractors, and I think he performs a public service.”

Its encouraging to see Mr Gatez is in support of FOGWATCH. Maybe there are still a few honest and honorable politicians in office.

I may be cynical, but I wonder how he would feel if that burr were under his saddle…
Anyway, you got some good exposure. It will be interesting to see if any more citizens hit your site.

This is precisely the type of advertising your need. Good job!
